Veniamin Kondratyev: By the end of 2025, the region's GRP is projected to reach 5.8 trillion roubles

The governor of the Krasnodar Region began his «Direct Line» programme with an assessment of the year's economic outcomes.

«We have thoroughly and thoughtfully reviewed the region's budget for next year. Our approach is informed by current economic developments. Our primary objective is to safeguard business interests, including enterprises, industrial agriculture, and the health resort complex. These sectors employ people who come to work every day and must be guaranteed their salaries. It is important to navigate this period of economic "cooling" in order to resume significant growth rates in the future. Nevertheless, according to forecasts, the region's GRP is projected to reach 5.8 trillion roubles by the end of 2025. It is anticipated that 595 billion roubles will be allocated to the consolidated budget. We have fulfilled all our social obligations and plans for the development of the region this year. We will continue to do so in the coming year,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

The governor placed a particular emphasis on the subject of investments. At the end of 2024, they amounted to 1.1 trillion roubles. By the end of the year, they are expected to reach 1.2 trillion roubles.

In 2025, the region's economy demonstrated stability. Since the beginning of the year, there has been a slight increase in the region's GRP, at the level of 0.1%.
