Veniamin Kondratyev: Investment projects worth 2.1 trillion roubles under way in Krasnodar Region’s industrial sector

The governor of the Krasnodar Region informed the press of this matter.

«Currently, 161 manufacturing investment projects, with a total value of 2.1 trillion roubles, are under way across the region. They will not only create new enterprises but also generate more than 49,000 jobs. Major facilities are set to be launched in the metalworking, machine tool manufacturing, radio electronics, and building materials sectors. Just a few years ago, construction and the fuel and energy sector were the undisputed leaders in the region’s investment portfolio. However, thanks to the introduced support measures, manufacturing now ranks first. Industrial enterprises can access seven types of subsidies from the Krasnodar Region’s budget, two preferential loan schemes, and grants from the region’s Industrial Development Fund. With capitalisation of 9.3 billion roubles, our Industrial Development Fund is one of the largest in the country,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

A number of state-supported projects aimed at producing import-substituting goods are scheduled for completion in 2026. These include the modernisation of machine tool production in Krasnodar, with a total investment of 6.36 billion roubles. In the Seversky District, the industrial materials plant is investing 244.8 million roubles in a new production line for organophilic bentonite. The same district will also begin manufacturing import-substituting specialised medical devices.

In the Kurganinsky District, sheet metal fabrication will be modernised with an investment of 1.2 billion roubles. The projects in the Timashevsky District involve establishment of a single industrial complex specialising in the manufacture of equipment for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries, as well as robotic systems, and the expansion of a stainless steel production.
